Like many discoveries, the skin brightening effect benefits of sake kasu were discovered purely by chance.

While at a Japanese sake brewery, a scientist noticed that the workers' hands looked beautiful and young. Sakekasu is rich in Kojic acid (byproduct of fermentation process of sake), Vitamin D, Vitamin B1 & a variety of other elements that inhibit melanin's performance, the main culprit of sunspots, age spots etc.

Made in Japan Chidoriya SAKE-KASU powder brightening face mask & milk bath:

- Brightening effect on skin as Sakekasu is rich in Kojic acid, Vitamin D, B1 & more elements that inhibit melanin's performance -the main culprit for sunspots, age spots etc.

To create a calming Sake-kasu face mask:

1 tsp of powder mix with 1-1.5 tsp of water (use filtered/bottled water to avoid drying chlorine), stir into a smooth paste form. Use 1/1 ratio, mix & slowly add few drops of water either if needed to get smooth, loose consistency. Gently apply on the face (avoid eye area). Leave on for 5-7 minutes MAX, rinse well. DO NOT leave on skin longer, might be hard to rinse causing irritation.

FINAL SALE

Sake-Kasu powder, is freeze-dried sake lees made from Daiginjoshu manufacturing process.

During the production of sake, the liquid extracted from the unrefined sake is used as a well-known alcoholic beverage. The remaining residue becomes the Sakekasu (sake-lees).
Nutrients leftover from the yeast remains in the Sakekasu, including carbohydrates, protein, fibers, vitamin B & more.
The nutrients in Sakekasu make it an incredible health food and a very natural skincare ingredient. In Japan,  Sakekasu is used for daily dishes such as Kasujiru (Sakekasu soup), pickles & desserts. Another great use is in beauty treatment.

Kojic acid is a by-product of the fermentation process of sake. The skin brightening effect of kojic acid was discovered purely by chance. While at a Japanese sake brewery, a scientist noticed that the workers' hands looked beautiful and young. Sakekasu is rich in Kojic acid, Vitamin D, Vitamin B1 & a variety of other elements that inhibit melanin's performance, the main culprit of sunspots, age spots & freckles.

Sake and Sakekasu have the unbelievable moisturizing capability as opposed to other alcoholic beverages. Sakekasu Bath has incredible moisturizing & heat-retention effects.

Sake has been used as an excellent skin toner for centuries in Japan. It contains plenty of saccharides & amino acids that are used as cosmetic materials.

Drinking Sakekasu as a hot drink (mix 2 teaspoons of Sakekasu w/hot water, add a small slice of ginger & honey or maple syrup) may prevent allergies to pollen, food & house dust mites.

Sake and Sakekasu contain antioxidants called Ferulic acids, a powerful UV light absorber, preventing skin aging.

Toxins in the body appear through the skin because the skin is an excretory organ. Improving one’s dietary habits can naturally treat skin roughness, acne, and skin conditions that are not easily cured through external treatment. Sakekasu contains dietary fibers that can help strengthen the digestive system.

Troublesome skin conditions become increasingly easy to treat with each cell-division cycle of the skin due to vitamin B's natural capabilities in increasing skin cell metabolism. Sakekasu holds a high nutritive value rivaling any superfood.
